Routine &
Dental Care

Our highly trained staff is here to help with all your routine and preventive health care needs; including nutrition, vaccinations, parasite control, spays and neutering. When it comes to your pet’s health, preventive and routine care are vital. As a full-service small animal hospital, we offer a wide range of these services to ensure your pet’s optimal health.

New Pet Exams

Let’s get your newly acquired or adopted pet started on the road to good health. During these exams, we’ll do a thorough physical examination to determine whether the animal is healthy and free of disease. If there are any issues, you’ll have an early warning for things that are easily treatable – fleas, parasites, ear mites and so on – we can get your new pet started on treatment before you even get home. Microchips can provide safety for your pet and give them the best chance of finding a way home if lost.

ANNUAL PHYSICALS

Regular wellness exams are a key component to your pet’s health. Since dogs and cats can’t let us know how they’re feeling, regular physical examinations allow our trained staff to evaluate your pet’s general health and become aware of any health problems. Because a pet’s health can change in a short amount of time, it’s important that wellness exams occur at least once a year.

Vaccinations

Vaccinations are vital to the welfare of your pet and are a preventive tool against common viral diseases in animals.

Spay / Neuter

Spaying or neutering your pet helps them live a longer, healthier and happier life. It also minimizes behavior problems and helps control the population of unwanted pets. All spay and neuter services are performed by our skilled veterinarians.

Dental Care

Dental disease is often an unrecognized source of pain in pets – according to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats have oral disease by the age of 3. Your pet’s dental health is an important part of their overall health. We provide routine dental care, as well as more advanced services such as periodontics, dental radiology, and oral surgery and medicine.

Nutrition & Husbandry

The right nutrition can enhance your pet’s health and extend their life. Our staff will work with you to find the right food and whole food supplements for all life stages.

Parasite Controls

Mosquitoes, fleas and ticks can transfer diseases to your pet and cause discomfort. We’ll work with you to prescribe the right medication to eliminate and prevent all parasite problems.
